Work Order Late Start
Work orders that are ready but have never been started (empty start date), drawn as a timeline. For catching skipped work before its deadline passes.
Questions It Answers
- Which operations should be running but have not been touched?
- Which production order is held up by one unstarted operation?
- How many days remain on the unstarted work?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Department | Limits to one department (warehouse/outlet) inside the division; pre-filled from the role default when set. |
| Deadline in Days | Days between the deadline and today: positive not yet due, negative overdue. E.g. <= 3 for those due within three days, < 0 for late ones. |
| Status | Default Ready for Production - work orders allowed to start. Only those with an empty Start Date show, whatever the status. |
How To Read It
The result is a timeline chart, not a table: one row per work operation, its bar spanning Order Date to Expected Completion Date, labelled with the production order number. The same data (ordered, failed, produced quantities) is carried but not shown as columns.
The chart is for reading on screen; its export is an image, not figures.
Why The Result May Be Empty
- As soon as the operator presses start on the work order, its start date fills and the row leaves this report.
- Work orders without a deadline drop out when the Deadline in Days filter is used.
