Vehicle Summary
One row per vehicle with period statistics: trips, distance, fuel and its cost, services and their cost, fuel per km, plus last trip/refuel/service dates. The vehicle card for the fleet manager.
Questions It Answers
- Which vehicle burns the most fuel per km?
- Which vehicles were never used (no trips) this month?
- What is the total fuel + service cost of each vehicle?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Period | Date range for trip, fuel, and service statistics. Empty = the whole history. |
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Vehicle, Vehicle Brand, Vehicle Type, Fuel Type | Limit which vehicles show. |
| Ownership Type, Vehicle Status | Owned / Rented / Leased / Employee-owned; Active / Inactive / In Service / Disposed. |
| Trip Status, Maintenance Status | Filter which trips and services count - e.g. only Done trips and Done services. |
How To Read It
A summary on top (total vehicles, vehicles with trips, total trips, distance, fuel, fuel cost, maintenance cost, average fuel/km and fuel cost/km), then one row per vehicle.

| Vehicle, Model / Type, Ownership / Status, Odometer | Identity from the Vehicle master and the latest odometer. |
| Total Trips, Trips Done, Duration (Hours), Total Distance | From Trip entries in the period; distance = odometer end - start per trip. |
| Total Fuel, Total Fuel Cost, Fuel/Km | From Fuel Log entries in the period; Fuel/Km = litres / total distance. |
| Vehicle Maintenance, Total Maintenance Cost | Count and cost of services in the period (preventive/corrective/emergency broken down). |
| Last Trip, Last Refuel, Last Service | Latest date of each. |
Why The Numbers May Differ
- Vehicles with no trips/fuel/service in the period still show with zeros - which is exactly what finds idle vehicles.
- Fuel/Km here uses trip odometer distance, unlike the Vehicle Route report which uses the master route length.
- Without Trip/Maintenance Status filters, Draft and Cancelled trips and services count too.
