Vehicle Maintenance

Questions It Answers
- What is vehicle X's maintenance cost this year?
- Which vehicles are past their next service date?
- How many emergency services versus preventive?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Transaction Date | Date range of the services. Empty means the whole history - slow on years of data, so always fill it. |
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Vehicle | One vehicle from the master. |
| Supplier | Workshop/fuel station as supplier; pre-filled from the role's default supplier when set. |
| Vehicle Maintenance Category | One category from the master (oil change, tyres, brakes, ...). |
| Maintenance Status | Draft, Approved, Done, or Cancelled. Empty means all. |
How To Read It
One row per service document, in service-time order.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Service Date Time, Complete Date Time | When it entered the workshop and when it was done. |
| Maintenance Type | Preventive, Corrective, or Emergency. |
| Maintenance Status | Draft, Approved, Done, Cancelled. |
| Odometer Value | Odometer at service. |
| Labor Cost, Parts Cost, Other Cost, Total Cost | Cost breakdown; Total = sum of the three. |
| Next Service Date, Next Service Odometer | The next routine service schedule entered at service time. |
Why The Numbers May Differ
- Without a Status filter, Draft and Cancelled documents are summed too - choose Done for cost that actually happened.
- Parts Cost is the total of the parts detail; per-product detail is in Vehicle Maintenance Part.
- This report does not filter on approval status.
