Payroll Summary
Total salary per employee grouped by employee group over a period. The payroll cost recap per department for finance.

- What is the Production group's payroll cost this month?
- What is the net salary of each employee in a group?

Filters

| Payroll Components | One component from the Salary Component master. |
How To Read It
One block per employee group; rows per employee: Code, Name, Address, Occupation, Debit (additions), Credit (deductions), Salary Balance (Debit - Credit).
Source: salary records produced by Payroll Period documents. Employees without a payroll document in the period are absent.
Why The Numbers May Differ
- The Payroll Components filter limits rows to one component - Salary Balance is then that component, not net pay.
- The date follows the Payroll Period document date, not the intended salary month; a January payroll dated 2 February lands in February.
- This report does not filter on document approval status.
