Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Transaction Date | Date range of the payments. Empty means the whole history - slow on years of data, so always fill it. |
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Payment Type | One type only; pre-filled from the role's default when set. |
| Supplier | One supplier only; pre-filled from the role's default when set. |
| Currency | Only transactions in that currency. Amounts are still shown in the company default currency. |
How To Read It
Nested result: Division > User Code (the user who recorded the payment) > one row per payment type.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Code, Payment Type | The payment type from the master. |
| Kind | Its class: Cash, Cheque, Bank, Giro, Sales Prepayment, or Purchase Prepayment. |
| Debit | Money paid to the supplier. |
| Credit | Money received back (return refunds). |
| Payment Discount | Payment discount obtained. |
| Total | Debit - Credit - payment discount. |
Why The Numbers May Differ
- This is money paid, not purchases: unpaid credit invoices are absent, and a payment of last month's invoice lands in this month.
- The Purchase Prepayment row is not money out on that day - the deposit was paid when the Supplier Prepayment form was made.
- The user is whoever created the payment row.
- Unlike Customer Payment Report, there is no Payment Charge column here.
