- Which receivables are past 60 days and need firmer collection?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Date | Position as of a date (up to and including), not a range. Empty means today. |
| Customer Group | Only customers in that group. |
| Customer | One customer only. A role locked to a specific customer gets it pre-filled and read-only. |
| Sales Representative | One sales rep only; pre-filled from the role's default when set. |
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Accounts Receivable Aging | Filter by age in days: >=, >, or between. E.g. >= 60 for bad debts. |
| Accounts Receivable Balance | Filter by remainder: > 0 hides invoices already settled. Without it, zero-balance invoices are listed too. |
How To Read It
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Customer Code, Name, Address | The customer; its rows are that customer's invoices. |
| Sales Invoice, Sales Date | Invoices that still carry a balance. |
| Payment Term | Cash, Cash on Delivery, or Credit - the payment type chosen on the invoice header. |
| Receivable | Remaining amount: invoice value minus every payment, return, and adjustment up to the filter date, in the default currency. |
| Aging | Days between the filter date and the invoice date. The report footer shows the average age. |
Why The Numbers May Differ
- This is the receivable ledger, not sales: a cash invoice settled immediately leaves no receivable and disappears when the Balance > 0 filter is used.
- Age counts from the invoice date, not the due date. A 30-day-term receivable is 30 days old exactly when it falls due.
- Foreign-currency receivables are converted at the invoice rate, so totals can shift from the original-currency amounts.
- Payments recorded after the filter date do not reduce the balance - this is a position as of a date.
- A receivable collection not yet marked "accepted" already reduces the ledger once saved; compare with Customer History, which uses the accepted date.
