Third-Party Billing
Invoices billed to someone other than the customer (insurer, head office, guarantor) and unpaid at period end - grouped by the billed party.
Questions It Answers
- How much must be billed to insurer X this month, and for which patients/customers?
- Which invoices are "Bill to" a third party but still unpaid?
- Which products make up the bill to that party?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Transaction Date | Date range of the invoices. Empty means the whole history - slow on years of data, so always fill it. |
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Customer | One customer only. A role locked to a specific customer gets it pre-filled and read-only. |
| Sales Representative | One sales rep only; pre-filled from the role's default when set. |
How To Read It
Nested result: Bill to (third party) > Invoice (number, original customer, rep, date, total) > product rows with Quantity, Unit, Gross, Discount, Net, Tax, Extra Tax, Subtotal.
An invoice is included only when its Bill to header field differs from the customer and the invoice is unpaid at the filter end date (paid after that date still shows).
Why The Numbers May Differ
- Invoices settled before the filter end date drop out - this is a list of open bills, not a history.
- POS receipts are included when their Bill to is filled.
- Documents still waiting for approval are not counted. If the approval workflow is on and the figures look low, check the Approval Queue.
