Student Arrears
Each student's outstanding bill per payment type (tuition, building fee, uniform) as of a date: scheduled bills minus what has been paid. The report for dunning parents.
Questions It Answers
- Which students are still in arrears, and by how much?
- For which payment types is student X in arrears?
- What is the total arrears of one subclass at month end?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Until Date | Payments count only up to this date; the schedule counts in full. |
| School Level | One level (e.g. primary, junior) from the master. |
| Class | One class (e.g. grade 7) in that level. |
| Subclass | One classroom group (e.g. 7-A). |
| Student | One student. |
How To Read It
One block per student still carrying a balance; rows per payment type.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Payment Name | Bill type from the Student Payment Schedule, including its instalment count. |
| Total Payment | Sum of all scheduled bills of that type for the student and subclass. |
| Paid | Sum of payments of that type up to the filter date. |
| Receivable | Total Payment - Paid. Only students with a receivable > 0 are shown. |
Why The Numbers May Differ
- Schedules and payments are summed first per student, subclass, and payment type, then subtracted - a bill paid in three instalments no longer shows three times (fix of 19 Aug 2026).
- Bills without a schedule (paid directly without a Payment Schedule) never become arrears here.
- A payment recorded under a different subclass than its schedule (student promoted) does not meet it - the arrears appear to remain.
