Purchase Summary
One row per Purchase invoice: gross, discount, tax, rewards, expenses, total, and what has been paid. The daily report for matching supplier invoices to payments.
Questions It Answers

- Which invoices are not fully paid, and what are their terms?
- How much discount, rewards, and purchase expenses this period?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Transaction Date | Date range of the purchase invoices. Empty means the whole history - slow on years of data, so always fill it. |
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Currency | Only transactions in that currency. Amounts are still shown in the company default currency. |
| Supplier Group | Only invoices of suppliers in that group; pre-filled from the role default when set. |
How To Read It
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Purchase Invoice, Purchase Date, Supplier Name | Invoice identity. Order: division, then date and time. |
| Gross | Sum of purchase price x quantity over all lines, before discounts. |
| Discount Value | Total line discount. Invoice discount is not shown separately - it is already reflected in Net. |
| Tax | Line VAT plus invoice extra tax. |
| Reward, Reward tax | Value of bonus products from the supplier that came in, and their tax. Not added to the bill. |
| Expenses | Purchase expenses charged to the invoice (freight, handling). |
| Net | Final invoice total payable to the supplier. |
| Payment | Amount already paid for that invoice, from the invoice Payments tab or Payable Payment. |
| TOP String | Terms: 2/10 n/30 means 2% discount if paid within 10 days, due in 30 days. |
Why The Numbers May Differ
- Purchase returns are not deducted; see Purchase Return Summary.
- Documents still waiting for approval are not counted. If the approval workflow is on and the figures look low, check the Approval Queue.
- Net is not Gross - Discount Value + Tax when there is an invoice discount, rounding, or expenses; that is what makes the total differ from the per-product reports.
- Payment larger than Net means an overpayment on that invoice - check its Payments tab.
