Purchases by Division, Shipment, and Invoice
Purchase invoices listed by the courier or fleet that delivered them, without product detail. For matching carrier bills to goods that actually arrived.
Questions It Answers
- Which purchase invoices did carrier X deliver this month?
- How many deliveries, and what value, came through a given vehicle?
- Which invoices arrived with no shipment recorded (self-collected)?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Transaction Date | Date range of the purchase invoices. Empty means the whole history - slow on years of data, so always fill it. |
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Supplier | One supplier only; pre-filled from the role's default when set. |
| Buyer | The employee recorded as buyer on the invoice header; pre-filled from the role's default employee when set. |
| Shipment | One carrier/fleet from the Shipments master; pre-filled from the role default when set. |
How To Read It
Nested result: Division > Shipment > invoice rows with number, date, supplier code and name, purchase total, and memo (an edited memo is marked). No product rows.
Source: approved Purchase invoices (when the approval workflow is on). Purchase returns are not deducted here - see the Purchase Return reports.
Why The Numbers May Differ
- Invoices without a shipment are grouped under a blank shipment.
- Purchase Total here is the invoice value, not the freight charge - freight is recorded in Purchase Expenses.
- Documents still waiting for approval are not counted. If the approval workflow is on and the figures look low, check the Approval Queue.
