Work in Process (WIP)
Every production order In Production, drawn as a timeline per product from order date to target finish. The current shop-floor load at a glance.
Questions It Answers
- What is being produced right now?
- Which orders have run past their target finish?
- How many orders are running per department?
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Division | Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it. |
| Department | Limits to one department (warehouse/outlet) inside the division; pre-filled from the role default when set. |
| Deadline in Days | Days between the deadline and today: positive not yet due, negative overdue. E.g. <= 3 for those due within three days, < 0 for late ones. |
| Status | Default In Production. This report has no deadline filter. |
How To Read It
The result is a timeline chart, not a table: one row per product, its bar spanning Order Date to Expected Completion Date, labelled with the production order number. The same data (ordered, failed, produced quantities) is carried but not shown as columns.
The chart is for reading on screen; its export is an image, not figures.
Why The Result May Be Empty
- Orders not yet started (Ready for Production) or already released are excluded unless the Status filter is changed.
- Orders without an Expected Completion Date have no bar length.
