One product's balance in every division and department as of a date, with stock age and COGS value. Read "per product, then where the goods are" - the inverse of the Product Inventory report, which is read per warehouse.

Filters

Filter What it does
Transaction Date Stock position up to and including this date. Empty means today.
Division Pre-filled from the user role's default division. A role locked to one division cannot change it.
Department Limits to one department (warehouse/outlet) inside the division; pre-filled from the role default when set.
Product Code One product only - handy for tracing the history of a single item.
Inventory Balance Filters by the product's total balance across locations (>, <, >=, <=, between, =).

How to Read the Result

Nested: a product row (total balance), then one row per Division / Department.

Column Meaning
Division, Department Locations that ever had movement of that product, including those with a zero or negative balance.
Inventory Age Days since the last stock-in at that location up to the filter date; empty if that location never received stock.
Balance, Unit In minus out up to the filter date, in the product's base unit.
Cost of Goods Sold, Subtotal The product's latest COGS in that division up to the filter date, and Balance x COGS; the grand total sums all locations.
Only products whose total balance is above zero appear. A product that is out of stock everywhere does not show even if it exists in the master data.
