Farm Batch Performance
One row per cycle: age, opening to closing population, mortality, total feed and harvest, cycle FCR, plus feed cost and harvest value in money. The closing report of a cycle.
When This Report Is Used
- When closing a cycle and judging its result.
- When comparing several cycles in the same house, or different houses at the same age.
- When setting targets for the next cycle.
How to Run It
- Fill in the required batch or house filter. Farm reports always ask for at least one, so the result does not drag in the whole history.
- Set the date range to match the question, for example one production week or a full cycle.
- Run the report, read the figures, then print or export once they look right.
How to Read the Result
- The cycle FCR is the figure used to compare cycles, not the daily FCR.
- Feed cost and harvest value only cover what has already been posted. A partly posted cycle will look cheaper than it really is.
- Read mortality together with age: deaths in the first week have different causes from deaths near harvest.
Common Problems
- The money columns are empty: no Inventory Posting exists for that cycle yet.
- The closing population does not match the house count: check the daily records for sales, transfers out, and losses.
- The result is empty: check the batch filter and date range first, then add other filters one at a time.
- Numbers disagree with another report: make sure the date range and batch selected are exactly the same.
