Dividend Withdrawal
The Dividend Withdrawal report shows the history of dividend payments to shareholders, including the payment type used.
When to Use This Report
- When past dividend payments need review.
- When finance reconciles cash spent on dividends.
- When a shareholder asks for their payment history.
How to Use
- Fill in the date period carefully because most reports read transactions by date.
- Run the report, then check totals and details before printing or exporting.
- Save or export the result when it is needed for reconciliation or audit.
How to Read the Results
- Each row is one withdrawal transaction with its value and payment type.
- The withdrawal value is determined by the application from what is actually still claimable, not from a typed figure.
- Reconcile the total against the cash or bank movement of the same payment type.
Common Issues
- A withdrawal does not appear: check the date and shareholder filters.
- The value differs from what was requested: the application only pays dividends not yet withdrawn in the selected period.
