Coverage & Effective Call
Two standard distribution measures in one report: how many scheduled outlets were actually visited, and how many visits produced an order.
Questions It Answers
- Is the route actually being run, or only part of it?
- Do the visits produce orders, or are they courtesy calls?
- What is the average order value per successful visit (drop size)?
How To Read It
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Outlets Scheduled | Unique outlets in that salesman's Visit Plan. |
| Outlets Visited & Coverage % | How many were actually stopped at within the filtered period. |
| GPS Verified | Visits carrying location proof. This is the figure fit to report to a principal. |
| Produced SO & Effective Call % | Visits that resulted in a Sales Order. |
| Order Value & Drop Size | Total order value from those visits, and the average per successful visit. |
High coverage with low effective call means the route runs but the offer does not land. High effective call with low coverage means only the easy outlets are being visited.
A Known Limit
- "Outlets Scheduled" counts active plan rows, not the weekly pattern expanded across the filtered dates. For ordinary weekly routes it is exact; for a "week 2 only" pattern filtered to a single week, coverage will look lower than it is.
