Upgrade and Renew Tenant
The SaaS admin page for one tenant: compute remaining term and remaining-period credit, change plan and add-ons, add months, then apply the change after payment. Shown to tenant admins only.
When To Use This Page
- A customer wants a higher plan or extra add-ons mid-period.
- The term is about to end and needs a few more months.
- Checking what is due before sending an invoice.
How To Read The Calculation
| Line | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Tenant, Database Name, Email, Expiry Date, Remaining Days | Tenant identity and its remaining term. |
| Plan, Maximum Users/Employees, Key features, Add-ons, Add Months | What is changed: target plan, add-ons, and months added. |
| Current Monthly Cost, New Monthly Cost | Catalogue price before and after the change. |
| Remaining Period Credit | Value of the old plan for the unused remaining days - credited to the change. |
| Upgrade Charge for Remaining Period | Cost difference of the new plan for the remaining period; computed for at most 36 remaining months. |
| New Renewal Cost, Annual Discount | Added months x new cost, and the discount when the annual condition is met. |
| Total Due, New Expiry Date | What must be paid and the term after applying. |
Applying The Change
- Pick the tenant, change plan/add-ons/months, check Total Due.
- Press Finish Payment for online payment; once settled, Apply After Payment.
- When payment is verified manually (bank transfer), use Apply Manually and confirm.
- When Total Due is zero (a free change), apply directly.
Common Problems
- "Plan downgrade is not allowed": the target plan is lower than the current one.
- "The stored price currency of this tenant differs...": old prices are ignored, the calculation uses the latest catalogue.
- "Finish payment first": Apply After Payment waits for a settled status; for manual transfers use Apply Manually.
