Request Remote Support
Let a Acosys technician see your application screen so the problem needs no long explanation - view only, only after you start a session and give two codes, and stoppable at any time.
How To Use It
- Go to Help / App Information / Request Remote Support. Enter a phone number a technician may call (optional, stored on this device only).
- Press Sign in and start session. You are asked to sign in to your Acosys account once (a Google account works) in a small window, then returned to this page.
- The screen shows a Session ID and a one-time password. Tell both to the technician, or send them with the Share / WhatsApp buttons.
- During the session a banner at the top of the screen shows the technician is watching. You may leave this page and keep working.
- Press End session (here or on the banner) to stop.
What The Technician Can And Cannot Do
- The technician only sees the application view; they cannot click or type on your screen.
- Nothing is shared before the session starts and both codes are given.
- What is shared is the Acosys application view, not your whole computer screen.
Common Problems
- "Remote support is not set up for this installation": the feature is not enabled for your installation - contact your Acosys representative.
- "The support server cannot be reached": check the internet connection, then reload the page.
- The sign-in window is blocked by the browser: allow pop-ups, or continue in this tab - the page keeps its state and carries on by itself.
- The technician sees an empty date field: the browser's built-in date picker is not mirrored; a limitation of the technician's view, not of your data.
