Queue Display
The waiting-room TV: the number being called with its counter, the next numbers, and voice announcements. Opened on a device registered as a Queue Device of type Waiting Room Display.
Setting Up The Display
- Register the device in Queue Device with type Waiting Room Display; choose the services shown (empty = every service in the division), turn on Call Sound and pick a Voice Language if numbers should be spoken.
- Fill Hub Address with the Acosys Client on the counter PC (e.g.
ws://192.168.1.10:9999) so the screen changes instantly; leave it empty if 30-second polling is enough. - Open the Queue Display page on the TV/mini-PC, enter the Device Token once, then go full screen. Admin PIN to leave.
- Layout and media (logo, video, ticker) can be changed through the device's Screen Layout (JSON); empty = built-in layout.
What Is Shown
- Now Calling: the last number called at each counter, with the counter's Display Name (not its code).
- The Waiting list per service in its colour, and the count.
- Sound: number and counter are spoken by the browser voice (Web Speech) in the chosen Voice Language - no audio files needed.
- "No number has been called yet" at the start of a day.
Common Problems
- Screen lags up to 30 seconds: normal without a hub. Fill Hub Address for instant updates.
- Screen updated instantly then stopped: the hub PC was turned off; the screen stays correct through polling. Restart Acosys Client on the hub PC.
- No sound: the browser blocks audio before the first touch, or Call Sound is off on the device. Touch the screen once after opening.
- Showing the wrong services: the Services field on the device limits what appears; clear it for all.
