Bulk Accounts Receivable Collection
Bulk Accounts Receivable Collection helps finance settle several customer invoices at once. The user ticks the receivables to be paid from the filter result, sets the payment type, then saves the payment in one process. Only ticked rows are saved.
When to Use
- When several customer invoices are to be settled in one process.
- When finance wants to process the filter result of the report
massreceivablepaymentwithout entering them one by one. - When the payment uses an active payment type other than kinds 5 and 6.
- When only some of the invoices in the filter result are to be paid; just tick the ones being paid.
How to Use
- Run the report
massreceivablepaymentuntil the receivable list appears. - Check the customer, address, invoice number, invoice date, and balance columns.
- Select the payment type. The initial default follows
userroles.defaultpayment. - Tick the invoices to be paid, or use the checkbox in the table header to select all. The total payment is calculated from the balance of the ticked rows; the Delete Row button only removes rows from the list.
- Click Save, read the confirmation, then the system saves the payment data according to the selected division, transaction date, and payment type.
Things to Note
- The Save button is enabled only after at least one row is ticked. Unticked rows are not saved even though they appear in the list.
- After success or failure, the page marks the process as saved so the save button is not used repeatedly.
- The division and transaction date are taken from the report filters:
a.divisionanda.transdate. - Make sure the report filters are correct before saving, because those filters determine the batch date and division.
- Inactive payment types or certain kinds are not shown by the page.
