Dashboard
The Equity Dashboard is the equity module's summary page, embedding the Equity Summary report (equitydashboard): the latest share valuation, the stockholder list, a share value chart, dividends per period, unpaid dividends, active share offers, and the last ten share transactions.
When to Use
- When the owner or management wants to see the equity position at a glance without opening reports one by one.
- When you need to check who the current stockholders are, how many shares they hold, and their ownership percentage.
- When finance wants to see which periods' dividends are still unpaid and to whom.
How to Use
- Open the menu Equity / Overview & Transactions / Dashboard , then read the latest share valuation card at the top: date, value per share, total equity, number of shares, and dividend percentage.
- Go through the stockholder table (shares, ownership percentage, value), dividends per period (net profit, percentage, value, paid, unpaid), unpaid dividends per stockholder, active share offers, and the last ten transactions.
- Open the related equity report or form when you need details or need to record a new transaction.
Things to Note
- All figures are read from the saved equity data: Share Value (valuations), Share Transactions, Dividend Calculation and Withdrawal, and published Share Offers.
- Only stockholders with a balance above zero (buys minus sells) are shown; holding value = shares x value per share from the latest valuation. If there is no valuation yet, the top card shows a no-valuation message.
- The dashboard has no date filter - it always shows the current position. For a position as of a date, use the Stockholders or Changes in Equity report.
