When to Use This Form

When the company adds a new vehicle type to the fleet data.
When vehicle data needs grouping by brand, type, and capacity.
When the default fuel type or model specifications need updating.

Before You Start

Make sure the brand, vehicle type, and default fuel type are available.
Prepare the seat, load, and fuel tank capacity information if that data is used in operations.

Workflow

Open Fleet / Fleet Masters / Vehicle Model.
Enter the code, brand, model name, and vehicle type.
Select the default fuel type if this model has a main fuel.
Complete the seat, load, and tank capacities if reports need that information.
Click Save so the model can be selected in the vehicle master data.

Key Fields

Code `id`	Vehicle model code. Use a code that is easy to link with the brand and vehicle type.	Required
Brand `brandid`	Vehicle brand that this model belongs to.	Required
Name `name`	Model or vehicle type name shown in the vehicle master data and reports.	Required
Vehicle Type `vehicletypeid`	Vehicle type, for example car, truck, motorcycle, or another category the company uses.	Required
Active `isactive`	Active determines whether the data can still be selected in transactions.	Optional

Details and Relations

This form has no detail table. The data is saved directly from the main fields.

What Happens After Saving

Active models can be selected when creating or updating the vehicle master data.
Changing the brand, type, or default fuel can affect fleet report grouping.
If a required reference has not been selected, the application rejects the save.

Common Problems

Model cannot be saved: check the brand, vehicle type, model name, and other required fields.
Model does not appear when selected: check the active status and search keyword.
Specifications are wrong: check the seat, load, and tank capacities and the default fuel type.

User Checklist

Code, brand, and model name are clear. Vehicle type and default fuel are correct. Seat, load, and tank capacities have been checked if used. The model is ready for the vehicle master data and fleet reports.
