When to Use This Form
- When there is a new vehicle brand that needs to be used in vehicle unit data.
- When vehicle data needs filtering or reporting based on this master data.
- When naming needs tidying so there are no duplicate entries.
Before You Start
- Make sure the naming has been agreed by the fleet admin and maintenance team.
Workflow
- Open Fleet / Fleet Masters / Vehicle Brand.
- Enter a code and name using a pattern that is easy to search.
- Add a note if there are special remarks the fleet admin needs to know.
- Make sure the data is not a duplicate with a different spelling or abbreviation.
- Click Save so the data can be selected in the vehicle master data and related reports.

Details and Relations
- This form has no detail table. The data is used as a reference in the vehicle master data.
What Happens After Saving
- Active data can be selected when filling in the vehicle master data.
- A name change is reflected in vehicle data and reports that use this reference.
- If the code or name is incomplete, the application shows a validation message.
Common Problems
- Data cannot be saved: make sure the code and name have been filled in.
- Data does not appear when searched: check the active status, keyword, and user access rights.
- Duplicate data: use one agreed name before creating new master data.
