Queue Device
Registration of each physical screen - kiosk, waiting-room display, counter desk display - with the Device Token that screen uses to read the queue without a login, plus printer, sound, hub, and layout settings.
When To Use This Form
- Before opening the Kiosk, Queue Display, or Counter Screen page on a new device.
- When changing the printer, turning sound on, filling the hub address, or changing the screen layout.
- When a device is lost or retired: deactivate it so its token can no longer be used.
Fields To Watch

| Division, Department, Location | Where the device sits. |
| Services | Services the kiosk offers or the display shows; empty = every service in the division. |
| Counter | Counter Desk Display only: the counter bound to this device. Staff do not pick a counter - the device decides. |
| Printer Name, Ticket Design | For kiosks: the printer profile in Acosys Client and the design from Print Designer. |
| Admin PIN | To leave full screen on that device. |
| Device Token | Generated automatically, 32 characters, read-only. Entered once on the device; anyone holding the token can read that division's queue data - do not share it. |
| Hub Address | ws://<counter-pc-ip>:9999 for instant updates through Acosys Client on the LAN; empty = polling only. |
| Poll Interval (seconds) | Default 30. Do not raise it to minutes - a wrong screen is worse than a late one. |
| Call Sound, Voice Language | For waiting-room displays: numbers are spoken in this language. |
| Screen Layout | JSON layout and media; empty = built-in. Invalid JSON is rejected on save. |
Common Problems
- A desk display will not save: type Counter Desk Display requires a Counter.
- The screen says "device is unknown or inactive": the token was mistyped (must be 32 characters) or the device is inactive.
- Need a new token after a leak: create a new device and deactivate the old one; tokens cannot be retyped.
