When to Use This Form
- When table areas in the POS need to be separated so cashiers can pick a table faster.
- When there is a new area, a new floor, or a new group of rental units.
- When the table list needs tidying so reports and the POS display are easier to read.
Before You Start
- Decide how the table areas will be divided for cashiers.
- Prepare the list of tables to be put into that group.
Workflow
- Open Sales & POS / Point of Sale / Rental Product Group List.
- Enter the group code and name according to the POS area.
- Set the active status so only groups in use appear in the POS.
- Check the list of tables included in the group.
- Save, then check the POS display or the table list.

- The Table detail contains the tables or rental units included in this group.
What Happens After Saving
- Active groups help separate the table display in the POS.
- A group name change is reflected in the table area selection and related reports.
- A table in the wrong group can make the cashier pick the wrong area during a transaction.
Used for Online Reservations
This group can also be a reservation type on the /booking page. Switch on Open for Reservations, then fill the Slot Length, Minimum Deposit (%), Unit Name (Court, Room, and so on), Division, and if needed the Early Check-in Fee Product and Late Check-out Fee Product (hourly rates). Those fields appear only after the toggle is on and do not affect the cashier. The full steps are in Setting Up Rental Products for Reservations.
Common Problems
- Group does not appear in the POS: check the active status and the cashier's access rights.
- Table appears in the wrong area: check the Table detail and the related Rental Product List data.
- Data cannot be saved: make sure the group code and name have been filled in.
