Factory List
Factory List stores the names of factories or product manufacturers so the source of goods is easy to trace in the product master data and inventory reports.

When to Use This Form
- When there is a new factory or manufacturer that needs to be used in the product master data.
- When the data needs to be available as an option on related master data, filters, or reports.
- When naming needs tidying so there are no duplicate entries.
Before You Start
- Make sure the naming has been agreed so users do not create the same data with a different spelling.
Workflow
- Open Products & Inventory / Product Catalog / Factory List.
- Enter a code and name using a pattern that is easy to search.
- Complete the note or additional remarks if available.
- Make sure the data is not a duplicate with a different spelling or abbreviation.
- Click Save so the data can be used in related options and reports.

Details and Relations
- This form has no detail table. The data is used as a reference on related master data or transactions.
What Happens After Saving
- Active data appears as an option on master data, transactions, or reports that use this reference.
- A name change is reflected on old data that uses this reference.
- If the code or name is incomplete, the application shows a validation message.
Common Problems
- Data cannot be saved: make sure the code and name have been filled in.
- Data does not appear when searched: check the keyword, active status, and user access rights.
- Duplicate data: use one agreed name before creating new master data.
