When to Use This Form
- When the company uses a new currency in purchasing, sales, payments, or reports.
- When a currency's symbol or default exchange rate needs updating.
- When an old currency is no longer used and needs to be deactivated from transaction options.
Before You Start
- Make sure the currency code follows the company standard, for example IDR, USD, or SGD.
- Set the exchange rate carefully because multi-currency transactions read this rate as the reference.
Workflow
- Open Settings / Language & Regional / Currency List.
- Enter the currency code, name, and symbol.
- Enter the exchange rate as the initial reference for multi-currency transactions.
- Make sure the Active status is correct so the currency only appears when it may actually be used.
- Save, then check transactions that use that currency.

- Deactivating a currency prevents users from selecting it on new transactions.
- If any data is not valid, the application rejects the save and shows a validation message.

- Currency does not appear in transactions: check the active status and user access rights.
