Visit Plan
The recurring visit schedule: which outlet, which salesman, which day, and in what stop order. A row applies indefinitely — there is no need to recreate it weekly.
When To Use It
- When laying out routes for the first time, usually once per territory.
- When a new outlet must enter a route.
- When dormant outlets from the weekly report need to be put back on a route.
Fields Worth Attention
| Field | What to watch |
|---|---|
| Salesman | The route owner. Today's Visits is grouped by salesman. |
| Customer / Lead | One is required. Leads may join a route too — prospective outlets need visiting as well. |
| Visit Day | Monday to Sunday. This decides whether the outlet appears in Today's Visits. |
| Week Pattern | Every week, or only week 1/2/3/4. Use it for outlets that only need a fortnightly visit. |
| Stop Order | Lower numbers are visited first. Arrange it along the road, not alphabetically — that is what saves fuel. |
| Active | Switch off rather than delete when an outlet is paused. Its visit history stays intact. |
The plan does not create visits by itself. It is the list that real visits are compared against in the Coverage report — that comparison is what coverage means.
