Attendance List
Attendance sent by the attendance app, for HR to correct: fill a forgotten check-out, approve overtime, record breaks, or cancel a wrong entry. Not a place to add attendance from scratch.
When To Use This Form
- An employee forgot to clock out: HR fills Check Out so the hours count in Attendance Summary and payroll.
- Approving or rejecting overtime before the payroll period is computed.
- Cancelling a duplicate or wrong-person attendance without deleting its trace.
Fields To Watch
| Field | What to watch |
|---|---|
| Employee, Name | Locked - an attendance cannot be moved to another person. |
| Check In, Check Out | Time in and out; an empty Check Out means not yet out or forgot to clock out. Changing them makes the app recompute working hours, lateness, and overtime. |
| Working Hours, Break Hours, Late, Hours Counted as Overtime | Computed from the applicable working hours: (out - in) minus breaks beyond the paid allowance. Not typeable. |
| Approved Overtime | Overtime hours approved by HR. Empty = payroll uses automatic overtime; 0 = overtime rejected; another number = what is paid. |
| Cancelled | Removes the attendance from recaps and payroll without deleting it. |
| Break tab | Break detail: start, end, length, note - for fixing a break that was never closed. |
Common Problems
- No Add button: attendance is only born from the attendance app (or the attendance kiosk). An employee who forgot to clock in must be recorded through that path.
- Working hours did not change after filling Check Out: save first; the computation happens on save.
- Overtime still paid although rejected: Approved Overtime must be 0, not empty.
